As our first-ever published report, this marks a significant milestone in EPIC’s 15-year journey—an opportunity to reflect, honor, and share the impact we’ve made in 2024, while charting a new course for growth and transformation in the years ahead.
Guided by the values of kuleana (responsibility), tauhi vā (relational balance), kommol (gratitude), and lototele (courage), this report captures our collective efforts to uplift Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander communities across the country.
2024 Impact Highlights:
Graduated 13 Pacific Islander leaders through our PILOT Summer Institute
Held 12 FONO sessions across the U.S. and virtually, centering NHPI voices and priorities
Advocated at the White House, Capitol Hill, and beyond for NHPI data equity
Released our first-ever multilingual voter outreach materials
Granted over $300,000 to NHPI grassroots organizations
Amplified youth stories through film, live conversations, and Forward Movement Projects
What’s Ahead in 2025:
Transitioning to a skills-based board structure
Expanding staff roles in communications, organizing, and operations
Realigning programs under three guiding stars: Advocacy, Leadership Development, and Research
