Rexie Adlawan

Rexie Adlawan is a Hawai‘i-born singer/songwriter from Pauoa, O‘ahu, known for her presence in the underground roots-reggae scene in Hawai‘i. In 2011, she was featured on the album of reggae artist Josh Heinrichs, and released the single “Love and Attention” with Kapu System in 2013. After seven years of stepping out of the scene, Rexie returned to reggae as a backup vocalist for Likkle Jordee before starting her solo project, forming the Rally Round Band. In 2020, she released “Rally Round + Still Skanking,” a 4-track EP through the Strictly Rockers Sound label, as well as the single “Better.” Rexie and the Rally Round Band regularly perform on O‘ahu, playing her original songs that promote peace, unity, and social reform.
